THIS IS FOR YOU IF

  • You feel flat, empty, or too depleted to start anything
  • You need a short activity with no commitment to finish the whole page
  • You are recovering from sustained overwork, caregiving, or chronic stress
  • Busy, dense coloring books feel like too much right now

WHAT IS INSIDE

36 pages total. 25 coloring pages. 7 PDF files delivered as a ZIP.

  • Garden Blooms — 5 full-page botanical studies featuring peonies, roses, hydrangeas, hibiscus, dahlias, and other garden flowers.
  • Flowers for the Table — 5 romantic arrangements in pitchers and vases, with fruit, linens, cookbooks, and softly layered kitchen details.
  • Through the Garden Gate — 5 outdoor scenes with stone paths, benches, gates, open doors, climbing roses, and quiet places to sit.
  • The Garden Sketchbook — 5 collected garden pages with floral wreaths, greenhouse moments, potted plants, decorative bouquets, and small garden vignettes.
  • The Five-Minute Garden — 5 pages with individual flowers, leaves, butterflies, bees, garden tools, and small botanical details. Four small scenes per page. Start one, stop. No full page required.

The instructions file includes a color palette, a page explaining why warm tones work for the burned out state, and tablet setup instructions for iPad, Samsung, and Windows.

WHY THE COLORS MATTER

When you are burned out, warm and muted tones give your nervous system a mild signal to activate. The palette in this book uses soft apricots, dusty sage, warm ivory, and muted terracotta. Cool tones and grey produce the opposite effect in this state. This book uses neither.

Why is this book designed for the burned out state?

Burned out is a depletion state. It requires a different approach from stress or overwhelm. The page complexity, the warm palette, and The Five-Minute Garden format are all built for someone with very little available right now. The science behind this is in the instructions file.
